I think this is a very broad generalization. While I prefer voting on
issues to voting on politicians, I favor some approaches to issues that
libertarians take and I do not find that these approaches to issues are
lacking in compassion. I have thought about this very carefully due to my
strong views about developing and maintaining a deep awareness of other
individuals and their situations in life. As such, I do not see a conflict
of interest.

While I don't particularly care for Rand's views on many issues, most
importantly the arts, the most frequent posters on this list do not discuss
Rand.
