Roger that. I had a John Steinbeck phase. Read everything he published.
Hes a flaming commie, but I found his stuff strangely effecting. Picked
up Grapes of Wrath, just because I was supposed to read it in high school
and didnt, then a couple years outta college finally read it.
His other stuff was very good too, especially East of Eden. Then I went
into a Jack Kerouac phase. But there were no hipsters around China Lake
Naval Weapons Center, so I got over that too... {8^D spike
