Humans wouldn't be good for this. Better to design a
machine that adjusts to any book size, has mechanical
arms that turn the pages, has a camera that records
and transmits the info to the computer. Faster and
more reliable. This wouldn't be very hard, would it?
You might need a human to rotate the books through the
machine, but maybe not. I've seen mechanical systems
locate and pull video tapes from a large array of
shelves. Seems like something similar could be done
with book shelves... How about that?
