I can confirm Mr. Harris's reporting of the facts. I don't know how many times in the last few months I've heard the following from otherwise intelligent guys I know:
"The two great acheivements of women's suffrage are Prohibition and the election of Bill Clinton."
"We never should have given them the right to free speech." "Free speech? Heck, we never should have taught them to read." "The rise of the Soccer Mom in America will destroy the Republic."
At this point, I can't say that I totally disagree with them either, in regards to a large percentage of women.
