Install a copy of some unix platform obviously :^)
Linux or FreeBSD are both free, and can be installed such that you will retain your win98 stuff. When you boot the machine, you simply choose which one to run. Of course for a 24 hour a day mailing list, you would never be able to shut down the unix...
Probably what you want to do is go over to onelist.com and run your list off that.
