It was a hasty comparison between what I've observed about people's
interest in their communities in Norway vs USA (I'm norwegian myself).

After we've had a few major nanotech terrorist disasters, I'm sure
there'll be a market for services to protect oneself from such. But,
maybe that would be too late. I get the impression Scandinavians like
and trust their governments more than Americans, though I could be
mistaken.
