Apologies to those who have been following this half-baked
thread; the reason that I'm apologizing is that I've been
doing some of the half-baking.

For the record, Tipler states in The Physics of Immortality:

"A human being can be exhaustively described by 10^45 bits...
though [the Kolgomorov complexity] may actually be simpler."

and

"the human brain is about 10^15 bits".

Therefore the number of states that a human being could be in
is 2^10^15" = 10^10^14.4786 (for those who like seeing what
little difference the base of repeated exponentials makes).
