I think Robert (and others) posted URIs already. I've known about MPI pretty
long (since it's inception), but I never had the opportunity to tackle it
in close personal combat ;)

Anyways, it is very easy to use, and comes with a lot of functionality
anticipating mostly used needs. So if you want to test drive a rocket
motor in the virtual drydock, or see how well your design fares during
reentry, it's something you might want to use.

If you want to set up a small computing cluster at work, I can give you
ideas.
