Not if it were possible to devise and assume an outlook consistent with
what Tolkien said about the Eldar. Remember, they were fitted by design
to immortality "within the Circles of the World", and they never
got bored. To the Elves, human boredom was a symptom of the
"elsewhither seeking" of Men, whom they called the Strangers,
or the Guests.
To come back down to earth (relatively speaking :-> ), it might
be an interesting outlook to try out.
