Is it cramped? Sometimes people get muscle cramps from being deficient in
magnesium (and perhaps calcium?). Try supplementing with 500mg of each. The
herb valerian is sometimes used as a muscle relaxant. D-L-Phenylalanine
(DLPA) is used for chronic pain, often for back aches or headaches.
And personally, flaxseeds/oil (as well as fish oil) has helped my
depression/S.A.D. too.
