Not if we go back to the bad old days where each side had 50,000 H bombs.
We'd be very lucky to have 5% survival, and most of them would be ill, or insane.
During the 1950's government was very big on bomb shelters, but when H bombs
started to be mass produced in the early 60's most realized it was pointless, by
the mid 60's even government had figured it out.
