Thank you, TOMorrow. I do think one of the things that the Church is
best at is transhumanist meme propogation. And it's always nice to run
across folks who appreciate the tongue-in-cheek nature of the church,
and the enthusiasm we bring.
For the record, the Church has yet to start any riots, though a few of
us were tear-gassed as innocent bystanders to the WTO mess in Seattle
last year.
Also, while CoM as an entity certainly has a public persona that's
fairly dionysian, we also have a fairly level headed intellectual,
analytical side. I suspect that many "hard core extropians" would get
along with us just fine in our smaller and more cerebral events. They
might even find themselves enjoying the pyrotechnics and dance parties
as well. :)
