The same thoughts came to my mind.
If people are going to converse about the means of
Sasha's death, at least they could somewhat defer to
the family's wishes, by keeping the discussion off the
public mailing list (not to mention the archives!!).
Had the discussion been held in private emails,
instead of across the whole list, this unpleasentness
could have been avoided.
Several sub-discussions have resulted from the same
thread which was about the discussion of his death,
however, which are in my opinion worthwhile
discussions (*and* not directly related to the means
of his death); those, I don't see as much of a problem
with.
