My thoughts go out to the friends and family of the theorist, Sasha Chislenko; wishing them hope beyond the present grief and bitterness. Sasha's passing re-inforces my belief that we DO need the Tipler's and Moravec's and Tegmark's to help drive back the gloom, at least bit. We are not certain, when death will be a thing of the past. We need, for our own sake's, to produce some plausible answers. People like Sasha would likely have provided some hope. And now he's gone.
