Why can't these dudes just follow the lead of Sheen's character in "The
Arrival"? Lots of satellite dishes out there are not being used when no one
is watching TV. Could be the radio astronomy equivalent of those SETI
screen savers. Distributed watching. I wonder what that would cost
compared to the Berkeley project.
Any thoughts on this?
