I recently released an introductory chunk of a larger work I am composing for publication. The chunk I released, however, is a pivotal one, for it is the structural skeleton, foundation and rationale for much of the work that follows. I received two responses, one laudatory (asking for publication data so he could purchase the finished work), and one with easily answered feeble challenges (the second on another list). Aside from these, there has been a deafening silence. Are there any more comments?
