Sadly this isn't really the case for typical individuals with schizophrenia.
For example, "thought disorder" is a common symptom. Individuals with
thought disorder may not be able to think logically or thoughts may be mixed
up, out of order or stop. Individuals may also feel that their thoughts can
be heard by others or that other people are putting thoughts into their
head. Often it is difficult for other people to understand people with
thought disorder.
