I (personally) don't find profanity offensive. I do, however,
feel that it's inappropriate and demonstrates a loss of control
by the person using them. Speaking to people when they're in
such a state is pointless as they're no longer in control
enough to reason fully.

Right. The other parts involve swearing, chest beating, and
slander. It seems this mailing list covers all the bases.
Perhaps in the spirit of transhumanism, perhaps we can rise
above "human discussions" and just stick to things of reason.
Then again, perhaps we can't until we find a way ourselves to
rise above being merely human. Hmm.
