It does apply, remotely, in that some goods in this country are produced and
distributed by the government. Or, at least contracted to a private company
to produce and distribute. Here's the first examples I can come up with:
retirement accounts, some tv/radio stations, the highway system, most
education, and some forms of mass transportation.
