My congratulations go out to Barbara Lamar for putting together such a fine website that shows off the career and person of Damien Broderick. I hope it gets linked to as many science fiction websites out there as possible.
I suppose "a prophet is never appreciated in his own land." Or at least by me... That book review mentioning the "giant chicken" caused me to lose my desire to read "the White Abacus." But now I am planning to purchase a copy! And I still yearn to buy several copies of "The Spike."
My thanks again to Barbara for giving Damien this tribute and new platform to spread his creative soul's stirrings. Now Damien, don't laugh to hard at my attempt to wax poetic... : )
