It might be asked why I didn't provide as neat a summary myself? (In fact,
I now see further down my in-box that Brian Atkins does just that.)
Answer: Because in that passage I was, to some extent, `speaking
deconstruction' in a performative mode, even as I sought to pull its
decayed teeth. I hope it's obvious that I was not trying, stupidly, to
debunk the utility of Goedlian and related metalogical analyses. But see my
