Well, "no good way..." and "no way to know for sure" are different things, I'd
say. There's no way to know for sure, yes, but fasting glucose levels, insulin
levels, IGF-1, and other parameters can provide a ~"good" way to know your state
of health/age, the source of which state you should be able to determine
("well," not perfectly) on other grounds.

And if you can afford it, exotic tests of cross-linking are available.

But, yeah, absolutely, we need something solid, like you say here --

The monkey CR studies should help on this score very soon (within a few years,
if not months).
