Don't mean to barge into the conversation, but I had to announce myselft
when I saw the glorious exchange on the topic of Punk Rock! I too listen to
a little Lard, but I'm a greater fan of the Dead Kennedy days of
Jello...also a big Crass fan. That's about the extent of my Punk Rock
ventures, though. The rest of my favs are more alternative (Radiohead,
Blind Melon, Nirvana, etc.). This whole branch of listening pleasure is
reletivly new to me; I'm an old Country/Christian music listener who
transformed into a new being, with new ways of looking at the world--it's
been great! Anyway, I'm going to get the CD from the 'superstar' group "No
W.T.O. Combo" featuring Jello, Krist Novosellic (Nirvana bass player), and
Kim Thayil (soundgarden); it sounds like a good enough group:)
