Robert, I believe Jeff was referring to those for whom `such blunt
confidence [that is, precisely Ralph's and yours] is off-putting to some,
and rationally insupportable to others'. Correct me if I'm wrong, Jeff,
since that `in turn' does seem to support Robert's reading.
