that's a measurement problem. Suppose it takes 20 lines to write a
neuron function, and that function is called 1 million times. Are you
measuring that as 20 million lines? It's a pointless excersize in
chest beating. If you can build AI (regardless of the number of lines
of code, or the number of specialized hardware nodes) then go for it.
It would be nice if it didn't kill everyone within moments of takeoff
too, so if you've got room on the goal stack for a constructive "To
Do" item, that should be pretty high on the list. Once your seed AI
wakes up, nobody will be counting lines of code in criticism...
