Well, the main problem of eugenics is that letting governments decide who's
fit to pass on their genes to the next generation has such a bad track
record as to exclude itself from consideration.
But that doesn't mean some genes aren't better than others. I have no
problem believing Ashkenazi Jews are on average genetically smarter than
other groups; we can accept the truth of a factual statement while rejecting
political actions supposedly based on said statement.
