Right... but the definition of Ashkenazi-ness is not that clear, much
less so than the (already a bit dubious) definition of Jewish-ness.
For instance, 3 of my 4 grandparents were Jews from Eastern Europe,
making it likely that I have a significant Ashkenazi heritage, but not
a certainty.... Of course none of my grandparents were particularly
religious but presumably the question was about genetics not cultural
beliefs...

but probably I should have answered YES.]
