Just a general note, which applies to many threads and not just this
one - why do people always assume that all our characteristics exist
because they've been favorable to self/group survival in the past?
Never forget that many things in us are emergent from our other
characteristics, and other things may as well be random.
In the case of this thread, I'm referring to some peoples' apparent
assumption that xenophobia must have some strictly natural selection
cause.
