I think that when the AI is not friendly, the Singularity will be hell.
So certainly, creating a *Friendly* AI is of the greatest importance
for the Singularity to benefit humanity. The only question marks I
placed, related to this, is in that I said that it seemed to be of
the highest priority to stay in control; in other words: I don't trust
'friendlyness' untill there is sufficient experience with real AI.
(I said that in relationship with building the seed AI distributed
on internet == no control).
