True; but with humans there's also the parental care issue. Dying
before your last child reaches adulthood meaningfully reduces your
Darwinian fitness. So evolution is operational into the 60's for
women and indefinitely for men. In addition, there's grandparental
assistance and advice; but that's more speculative.
