poly: Does home ownership cause unemployment?

Tim May asks for more current oriented topics. I just came
across some delightful Slate columns by Steven Landsburg.

Steve discusses the finding the unemployment coorelates with
home ownership. Is it because homeowners are less willing to
move to a new job?
