Well, its 4:00+ Moscow ST, the Y2000 is now in the
Eastern Atlantic. Eugene and Anders & Nick
are now in my Millennia and we are waiting for
the rest of you to catch up.
I don't think anyone called to talk to the future
but I may have missed some attempts in the noise
of the crowds or the cell-phone-desert of the metro.
So far, I haven't seen anything falling down.
I also haven't seen Jesus (thats going to really
annoy those individuals down in Isreal). I would
comment on the creativity expressed by certain
Russians/Moscowvites in developing ways to lauch
fireworks in horizontal rather than vertical directions.
I think for Y3K Eugene needs to show up and demonstrate
proper fire-works launching protocols after the consumption
of numerous reality altering chemicals.
My photos are waiting for battery recharges before
uploading. Someone next year should remind me that more
advance planning is required to avoid the consumption of
horribly expensive champagne (Crystal) lacking the company
of other Extropians who might enjoy it.
R.
