Jakob Nielsen's website <http://www.useit.com/> gives real statistics on web
usage. He distinguishes real observed behavior as opposed to what users say
on surveys. This site is a must for any web designer!
He reports that about half the web users will navigate throughout a site to
find content. The other half never navigates on a web site, but goes
straight to the [Search] button and performs a search.
