As a published nutrition researcher, it drives me crazy when the U.S.
Government says that nutritional supplementation is not necessary. The U.S.
government puts vitamin A in butter, vitamin D in milk, iodine in salt, and
fluoride in water. Four instances of government sanctioned/mandated
nutrient supplementation, but the official party line is still that
supplementation is not necessary.
