Evidently. Then again, what does "fall in love" mean, an expression you
used in another post on the "natural" thread? Depending, no one might know
about it, or it might not elicit stake-burning, or, or, or...
My point being that most human issues are "already" muddled for exactly the
reason ( :) ) you mention above. I don't see any confusion being _added_.
it's already there? Or are you using the term "added" in some technical sense?

PS: Have you read any of Lakoff's work on categories, and/or Lakoff and
Johnson's work on the metaphorical basis of thinking?
