Strictly speaking, this is true for only one European country: Monaco,
which is really a town which also happens to be a country. It's less
than one square mile in size and has about 43,450 persons per square
mile. A more reasonable example of a densely populated European country
would be the Netherlands, with about 1,000 persons per square mile. If
all the earth's population were in Texas, the density would be 22,908
persons per square mile.
