What always bothers me about Paglia is that she is explicitly
tolerant of physical violence, excusing it as "boys will be boys"
without recognizing that there are plenty of confident, masculine,
powerful, sexy men who don't have to beat something up to prove it.
Between being bashed and being patronized, I think I'd rather be
bashed.
