        Although modern "commercialized" christianity may promote believing
something just because it can't be proved, the conventional meaning of
"faith" is quite different. I think faith is generally used to mean a
persistence of belief through occasional doubts; something i suspect all
atheists engage in all the time. I may temporarily wonder if Y2K will wipe out
civilization, but i still act upon the belief that it won't.
        It's interesting to note that the apostle Paul had a quite
different attitude than what is called "faith" on this list. he
encouraged people to "test all things..."
