Dennett has surely never seen the Iditerod dogsled races. When
the dogs are getting hitched up their body language is screaming:

When a dog is retired from the traces to a life of ease as a pet,
he droops like his heart is about to break.
Every year the SPCA people show up to protest the dogsled
races, and every year they witness the dog's behavior and go
