I don't ordinarily publicly announce that I'm plonking people; I usually
see it as an "I have the last word, nyahh nyahh" sort of thing.
However, I regard using a high-priority email to announce a
non-time-sensitive message, on a subject that most of us are *entirely*
sick of hearing about and which is at most peripherally relevant to the
basic charter of the group, as a violation of basic netiquette strong
enough to merit public reproof. The capital letters and exclamation
points are simply icing on the cake of cluelessness.
Congratulations, Goddard, you made my Extropians killfile. (Private
messages will go through; I still don't believe in cutting off responses.)
