Perhaps. Some of my results in my memory models imply that having a
memory that learns quickly means that the generalisation ability
becomes less good. However, what the optimal level of generalisation
is depends a lot on the environment - a change that would be bad for a
cro magnon hunter might be a great improvement for a programmer.
