Ja, you are both right. I missed the comment on page 815, which
said Root the prisoner/programmer spoke of wartime events, and
of postwar England. All throughout the last part of the book, I was
thinking the programmer Enoch must have been the son of the padre,
but in fact it was the man himself. Dr. G.E.B.Kivistik is Enoch Root's
