I have a lot of problems with NASA, and while I eagerly await private
developments that will ultimately overwhelm it, I am sickened by the proposed
cut. NASA's "smaller, better, cheaper" initiative is a vital step for space
science. So while I don't consider NASA to be the savior of the human
intellect, I'm angry as hell that so many good plans are being tossed to the
wind for no good reason.
