As far as I know the I-word is *not* used in any current official ExI
publications. That's quite deliberate. If you know of any materials on our
web site that use the word, please let me know, as you seem to be under the
impression that ExI uses this term.

I have long since avoided the term due to its religious connotations, as
well as the fact that my goal is indefinite extension of life, not
immortality. I'm not at all sure immortality is possible, and I don't know
whether I will still want to live a billion years from now.
