To not search for ETs (as SIs), is to argue that the Universal
Fatality [probability] Equation = 1 (or the Intelligent-Life-Evolves
equation is very very close to zero (of the order of << 10^-9).

I don't see those arguments, so I'm not impressed!

We are proof that intelligent life *can* evolve, so the
real question is the frequency.

If intelligent life does evolve with any frequency, then
the question is the rate (and time) of transition to an
SI level.

Maybe the SI transition probability = 0 -- make the argument!
