I'm in the field, and I'm also interested in finding a *good*
introductory book. Any ideas?
The FAQ (ftp://ftp.sas.com/pub/neural/FAQ4.html#A_books) has several
suggestions which might be good.
Here we have used Simon Haykin's _Neural Networks: A Comprehensive
Foundation_ which is fairly complete, but unfortunately is fairly
dense to read and contains lots of more or less slight errors. Very
irritating.
