I deal with a lot of other subjects; it cannot even be said that
reasonable gun laws rank among my main concerns. However,
when addressed, I will answer honestly and plainly, and when
faced with an extreme and fallacious assertion I shall counter it
with logic, rationality, common sense and reason, and will not be
deterred from answering as long as my questioners and the
authors of extreme and fallacious contentions are not similarly
deterred from questioning and making extreme assertions. I would
expect no less from any of you (although perhaps my expectations
are unrealistically high).
