"Economics" is misplaced here; while its application to human
behavior might be "soft", the science itself is a branch of
mathematics no less hard than Physics. In fact moreso; mathematical
facts are true by definition and tautology--physical law is
merely assumption by lack of counterexample (we've never seen
conservation of mass-energy violated, so we call it a "law").
