I was quite intrigued when I first heard of Apple's project and look forward to trying a production model out, despite my bias against being categorized with the newbie/aol set that still thinks that "Macs Rule!".

I dunno about a wind up one. I think matching a conventional one with a solar, wind, or micro-hydro setup would be sufficient, though I can foresee a business that is a combination health club/ISP, where the members keep the network running.... Apparently recent tests of stationary bike controlled TV's are having a positive impact on personal fitness...
