For whoever asked, no, Ally McBeal is nothing like a real
lawyer's work environment. Law firms, by and large, don't
resemble group therapy sessions, nor do they resemble a high
school clique of popular kids. Lawyers rarely have any kind
of fun at work, much less madcap hijinks and zany fun.
I do watch the show though. I laugh and wish to god that I
could work at Ally McBeal's firm.
